Job Description

Develop implement and maintain the PDI Retail Pricebook for the Retail Division. Analyze data resulting data and be able to produce required reports accurately. Represent Western Refining in a professional manner in all dealings with employees, vendors and customers.

Major Job Tasks

* Develop, implement and maintain the PDI Pricebook. Ensure the costs, retail and category information is accurately updated with the most current materials available.
* Analyze the data generated through the Pricebook to determine if we are achieving gross profit goals by category.
* Responsible for soliciting and follow up with vendors to that all information is accurate and input into PDI.
* Provide unmatched level of customer service by researching, problem solving and exchanging information.
* Provide and maintain efficient and timely information and controls to support the Retail Division.
* Practice preventative safety procedures to maintain an accident free workplace. Respond appropriately to emergency situations and report all accidents.
* Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* 1. Knowledge of department practices and procedures.
* 2. Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including MS Word, Excel, and Focal Point.
* 3. Mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply, or divide numbers for balancing or compiling figures.
* 4. Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer, calculator, facsimile, copy machine, and document shredder.
* 5. Written communication skill to compose letters, memos, and basic reports.
* 6. Oral communication skill to communicate with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
* 7. Interpersonal communication skill to work effectively with others in order to coordinate activities and arrive at mutual decisions.
* 8. Ability to read and understand documents, such as procedure manuals, reports, and correspondence.
* 9. Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.

10. Ability to provide a high level of customer service by answering questions, providing accurate information, and responding to requests on a timely basis.

11. Ability to provide support to other employees by providing them with accurate information and responding to requests on a timely basis.

12. Ability to plan and schedule activities over the course of a month including identification of resources, implementation, monitoring, and follow-up activities.

13. Ability to identify, define, and solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

14. Ability to work effectively with general supervisory guidance.

15. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
